How to zoom with the mouse scroll wheel on a Mac

To zoom with the mouse scroll wheel on a Macbook Pro, hold down the Command (⌘) key while scrolling with the mouse wheel; this will zoom in or out depending on the direction you scroll.
  • Accessibility settings:
    If you want to customize your zoom functionality, you can go to System Settings > Accessibility > Zoom to adjust settings like using a modifier key for scrolling to zoom.
  • Command key: The key you need to hold down for zooming is the “Command” key (⌘).
 
  • Keyboard shortcuts:
    You can also zoom using keyboard shortcuts like “Command + +” to zoom in and “Command + -” to zoom out.
